What to expect
Travel via Valjevo and the winding Debelo Brdo mountain pass to Kapija Podrinja, where you can stretch your legs and photograph panoramic views over the Drina Valley. Continue to the Drina River House, perched on a rock in the middle of the river, for photographs and an optional coffee overlooking the water.
From here, enjoy a scenic drive through Tara National Park to Drvengrad, the wooden village in Mokra Gora. Explore its streets and squares at your own pace, with the option to have lunch before the train ride. 如果时间允许，您还可以参观贝勒沃德的圣约翰洗礼堂和矿泉。
In the afternoon, board the Šargan Eight heritage train for an approximately two-hour return journey through forests, tunnels and bridges, with several stops to enjoy the views and take photographs.
Return to Belgrade via Užice rather than retracing the mountain roads of the outward journey. The return drive takes approximately three hours, much of it on the motorway.
Admission fees, train tickets, meals and drinks are not included. The train ride is subject to its operating schedule and ticket availability.
