What to expect
Your private driver will pick you up directly from your hotel in Hoi An. After meeting the driver, begin the journey north toward Phong Nha via the coastal road and National Highway 1A.

08:15 AM – Stop at Hai Van Pass
Arrive at Hai Van Pass, one of Vietnam’s most famous mountain roads. The pass offers spectacular panoramic views overlooking the coastline between Da Nang and Hue.
09:30 AM – Visit Lap An Lagoon
Continue to Lap An Lagoon, a peaceful lagoon surrounded by mountains and fishing villages.

11:30 AM – Lunch Break in Hue or Quang Tri

02:00 PM – Explore Hien Luong Bridge & Ben Hai River
Visit the historic Hien Luong Bridge located over the Ben Hai River.
This site was once the dividing line between North and South Vietnam during the Vietnam War and is now an important national historical monument.
03:00 PM – Discover Vinh Moc Tunnels
Continue to Vinh Moc Tunnels, one of Vietnam’s most remarkable wartime tunnel systems.
The underground complex was built to protect local villagers from heavy bombing during the war.
05:30 PM – Scenic Drive to Phong Nha
After visiting the historical sites, continue driving north to Phong Nha.

06:30–07:00 PM – Arrival at Hotel in Phong Nha
