Your group gets a private, guide-led day built around the experiences in this itinerary. The tour begins from Belize City. For cave tubing, follow your guide on the forest approach, receive a safety briefing, and float through the underground river while looking at the limestone formations overhead. On the zipline course, trained guides handle the safety setup as you move between platforms and see the forest canopy from above.

Allow about 6 hours for the full experience. This is a private experience for your booked group. guide service and hotel pickup are included. Travelers should have a moderate level of physical fitness. The experience is not wheelchair accessible. It is not recommended for pregnant travelers, travelers with back problems, and travelers with heart problems or other serious medical conditions.

What to expect

Once at the entrance of the cave system, it’s time for your cave tubing adventure through the ancient Maya underworld. Inside, you’ll see intricate crystalline formations that line the cave with a majestic rise and fall of stalagmites and stalactites that add to the smooth richness and grandiose of Xibalba as it’s known. If there’s time, and you’re open to added adventure, our guides may stop at the mini waterfall and swimming area. After leaving the falls, you’ll emerge into the sunlight and free float downstream, ushered by the gentle current and little rapids, to the harmony of birds and natural wildlife which routes back to where the tour started.
It’s then on to zip-lining, which gives you a bird’s eye view of Belize’s jungle while soaring through the treetops at high speed. It’s a short walk over to the equipment area where our expert guides will help outfit you in the required equipment. You’ll then make your way over to the first platform, where an important safety briefing will follow, which covers braking technique, balancing, and cable safety.
