Reach Lamanai by a scenic journey along the New River, where wildlife sightings may include birds, iguanas, monkeys, and crocodiles. At the archaeological reserve, follow your guide through forest trails to the major temples and learn how Lamanai remained an important Maya center for centuries. The combination of river travel, wildlife, and guide-led archaeology makes this shared experience different from a road-only ruins tour.
