Experience Maya history, an underground river, and the forest canopy in one shared adventure. Begin at Altun Ha, where your guide explains the temples, plazas, and trade routes of the ancient city. Continue to the cave-tubing area for a forest walk, safety briefing, and guided float through the limestone cave system. Finish on the zipline course, where trained guides manage the equipment and help you move between platforms above the tropical forest.

If it says Water Taxi Included or Flight Included, we arrange only the specified ticket; transportation from your hotel to the departure terminal or airport is still not included. Water taxi arrivals: after collecting your luggage, meet your guide outside the main exit of the San Pedro Belize Express Water Taxi Terminal, 111 North Front Street, Belize City. Please arrive early enough to complete check-in.
Altun Ha is the nearest excavated Maya Temple to Belize City and is probably the most visited by belizean school children from all over the country. This beautiful Maya Temple whose name means “Rockstone Water” has wide-open spaces.
Once at the entrance of the cave system, it’s time for your cave tubing adventure through the ancient Maya underworld. Inside, you’ll see intricate crystalline formations that line the cave with a majestic rise and fall of stalagmites and stalactites that add to the serene richness and grandiose of Xibalba as it’s known.
READY! SET! GO! Push off from the wooden platform and zip along the aerial cable at canopy level where a guide will be waiting for you at the next platform. A couple platforms, into your Indiana Jones adventure, you’ll see the “hammock bridge” hanging almost 120 feet above the forest floor. Take in the tangled heart of Belize’s spellbinding and lush primeval forest, as the wide glade of trees fall away to reveal an infinite blue sky.
