Your experience begins at 5:00 PM with pickup from your hotel, B&B, or another agreed location in Matera. Meet your professional driver and travel comfortably in a private, air-conditioned sedan/minivan toward the Ionian coast.

Arrive at the Tavole Palatine archaeological site at approximately and enjoy around 30 minutes to admire the impressive remains of the ancient Doric temple.

Continue to Masseria Crocco in Montalbano, arriving at approximately 7:15 PM. Collect your traditional picnic basket containing an abundant selection of traditional Lucanian products such as local roasted sausage, eggs, cured meats, focaccia, chicken, fruit, accompanied by local wine. Choose your preferred table within the spacious vineyard and settle into the panoramic setting that appeals to you most. Admire the sunset and the sweeping views over the surrounding countryside, including the evocative ghost village of Craco in the distance.

At approximately 9:30 PM, return your picnic basket at the masseria’s reception and meet your driver for the private journey back to Matera. Relax aboard the minivan before arriving at your hotel, B&B, or agreed drop-off point at approximately 11:00 PM.
