On day one, meet the Terracotta Warriors and uncover the story of China’s first emperor and his underground army. Back in Xi’an, walk or optionally cycle the Ancient City Wall for views of the old and modern city.

Begin day two at Art Gallery, exploring its gallery and learning about the influential Chang’an School of Painting, Chinese painting, and calligraphy. Continue to the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda for the story of monk Xuanzang. In the afternoon, explore the Muslim Quarter and Great Mosque, then see the Bell and Drum Towers from the square.
