Majang Meat Market supplies roughly 60 percent of Seoul's meat, and it's a no-frills, working market rather than a tourist stop. Your host walks you through the stalls, explains how Hanwoo beef is graded, and helps you pick up cuts graded 1++ or 1, or pork if you'd rather. From there, you'll take your haul to a nearby restaurant and grill it over coals yourself.
Add an optional stop at a local pocha for craft soju or makgeolli paired with bar snacks. This isn't a meal so much as a look at how Korea's meat actually gets to the table.
