The night of accommodation in Aguas Calientes is not included, giving guests the freedom to choose the type of accommodation that best suits their preferences, budget and comfort level.
During the visit, you will take part in a guided tour of approximately 2 hours, where you can learn about the fascinating history, architecture and mystical energy that surround this ancient gem of the Inca Empire.
We arrive at the entrance of your hotel identified with our company logo and the names of the passengers, to facilitate a quick and organized meeting.
From Cusco’s Plaza de Armas, head towards Calle Triunfo and continue along Calle Herrajes until you reach Avenida Tullumayo. Then turn right onto Collacalle Street and go a few blocks to number 388. The tour can be done walking in about 10 minutes.
On the first day, the trip begins early in the morning, with pickup at your hotel at 3 : 45 a.m. From Cusco, you will transfer by bus to Ollantaytambo, where you will board the train to Machu Picchu. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes (Ministry of Culture), at approximately 8:00 a.m., you can register and get your tickets the following day. The night of accommodation in Aguas Calientes is not included, as we offer our guests freedom to choose the type of accommodation that best suits their budget and comfort level.
Our guide will meet you at the agreed point, the same place where your ticket to the Ministry of Culture was managed the day before. From there, you will board the bus to Machu Picchu citadel to start your guided group tour of approximately 2 hours, provided you have the entrance ticket of Circuit 2 – Llaqta. At the end of the tour, you will descend by bus to the town of Aguas Calientes, where you can have lunch on your own. Afterwards, you will board the return train to Ollantaytambo, where a bus transfer will take you back to Cusco, finishing the tour near the Plaza de Armas.
