Weather Forecast for Ko Chang

The southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf is strengthening while the low-pressure cell covers upper Vietnam with more rain in the South and isolated heavy rains remains in the North, the upper Northeast and the East regions. The wind and waves prevailing over the Andaman Sea and the Gulf is strengthening. The rather strong wind forces the wave in the upper Andaman Sea upto 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers while about 2 meters high in the lower Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. In addition, typhoon “BAVI” over Pacific Ocean is expected to move through Taiwan and make landfall over the eastern part of China during 11–12 July 2026. The storm is forecast to not move to Thailand. The travelers should check the weather forecast for the region you're going to be visiting.

People in the areas should beware of heavy rains and accumulation that may cause flash floods, overflows and landslides especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. Small boats in the upper Andaman Sea should keep ashore by lasting 15 July 2026. In addition, typhoon “BAVI” over Pacific Ocean is expected to move through Taiwan and make landfall over the eastern part of China during 11–12 July 2026. ภาคเหนือ ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนบน และภาคตะวันออก ยังคงมีฝนตกหนักบางแห่ง เนื่องจากมีหย่อมความกดอากาศต่ำปกคลุมบริเวณประเทศเวียดนามตอนบน ประกอบกับมรสุมตะวันตกเฉียงใต้ที่พัดปกคลุมทะเลอันดามัน ประเทศไทย และอ่าวไทย มีกำลังแรงขึ้น สำหรับคลื่นลมบริเวณทะเลอันดามันและอ่าวไทยมีกำลังแรงขึ้น โดยคลื่นลมบริเวณทะเลอันดามันตอนบนมีกำลังค่อนข้างแรง ทะเลมีคลื่นสูง 2–3 เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 3 เมตร ส่วนทะเลอันดามันตอนล่างและอ่าวไทยตอนบน มีคลื่นสูงประมาณ 2 เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนอง คลื่นสูงมากกว่า 2 เมตร อนึ่ง พายุไต้ฝุ่น “บาหวี่” (BAVI) บริเวณมหาสมุทรแปซิฟิก มีแนวโน้มจะเคลื่อนผ่านเกาะไต้หวัน และขึ้นฝั่งบริเวณด้านตะวันออกของประเทศจีนในช่วงวันที่ 11–12 ก.ค. 69 โดยพายุนี้ไม่เคลื่อนเข้าสู่ประเทศไทย ขอให้ผู้ที่จะเดินทางไปในบริเวณดังกล่าว ตรวจสอบสภาพอากาศก่อนออกเดินทางไว้ด้วย

ขอให้ประชาชนในบริเวณดังกล่าวระวังอันตรายจากฝนตกหนักและฝนที่ตกสะสม ซึ่งอาจทำให้เกิดน้ำท่วมฉับพลันและน้ำป่าไหลหลาก โดยเฉพาะพื้นที่ลาดเชิงเขาใกล้ทางน้ำไหลผ่านและพื้นที่ลุ่ม ขอให้ชาวเรือบริเวณทะเลอันดามันและอ่าวไทยเดินเรือด้วยความระมัดระวัง และหลีกเลี่ยงการเดินเรือในบริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนอง สำหรับเรือเล็กบริเวณทะเลอันดามันตอนบนควรงดออกจากฝั่งจนถึงวันที่ 15 ก.ค. 69 อนึ่ง พายุไต้ฝุ่น “บาหวี่” (BAVI) บริเวณมหาสมุทรแปซิฟิก มีแนวโน้มจะเคลื่อนผ่านเกาะไต้หวัน และขึ้นฝั่งบริเวณด้านตะวันออกของประเทศจีนในช่วงวันที่ 11–12 ก.ค. 69 โดยพายุนี้ไม่เคลื่อนเข้าสู่ประเทศไทย ขอให้ผู้ที่จะเดินทางไปในบริเวณดังกล่าว ตรวจสอบสภาพอากาศก่อนออกเดินทางไว้ด้วย
