* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of north central, northeast, and south central Texas, including the following counties, in north central Texas, Bell, Bosque, Coryell, Falls, Freestone, Hamilton, Lampasas, Limestone, McLennan and Mills. In northeast Texas, Anderson and Leon. In south central Texas, Milam and Robertson. * WHEN...Through Monday evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Slow moving thunderstorms may result in widespread rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches in a short period of time. Isolated totals in excess of 5 inches will be possible through Monday. - weather.gov/safety/flood

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Southeastern Bell County in central Texas... Southern Falls County in central Texas... Northern Milam County in central Texas... West Central Robertson County in central Texas... * WHEN...Until 230 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems in urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1231 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Cameron, Rogers, Buckholts, Yarrelton, Crossroads, Silver City, Jones Prairie, Ben Arnold, Burlington, Pettibone, Maysfield and Baileyville.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
