The park has a greater concentration of Elephants per square kilometer, than other parks in the Northern Tourist Circuit of the Country. Dominated by Acacia and Baobab Trees, trees that make another fascinating feature besides its great wildlife diversity. The elephants here are so fascinating to watch in the dry season, due to their adaptation on going to the river bed and dig for water, kicking sand by their forefeet, taking the sand out by their trunk until deep enough that you see water cascading and they start drinking.
