    Tra Que Vegetable Village

    Tra Que is a small village located 3km north of Hoi An’s Old Town. Its location is between De Vong River and Tra Que alga pond. Thanks to the special condition of rich soil and water, the village has long been known for growing many kinds of vegetables: lettuce, salad, houttuynia, flagrant knoutwed, basil and coriander vegetables etc, with which the traditional specialities of Hoi An have gained part of their fame.

    Cam Thanh village refers to as Bay Mau coconut forest has been rising for 200 years. The number of coconut, which was brought by southwestern immigrants. It has protected Cam Thanh villagers from waves from the sea and safeguarded the world biosphere reserve Cham Islands. When you first visit Cam Thanh village and especially at Bay Mau forest, the impression is at this forest with hundreds of hectares of palms or called coconut. The forest stretched near Cua Dai to Cam Thanh village which is called as Mekong Delta of South Vietnam in Hoian. To discover its beauties, you can make a basket boat or called Thung Chai to reach closely in Bay Mau forest. You row through the tranquil river and enjoy the ecotourism site to reach a big river where you can spend more time on bigger wooden boat to have fishing net or enjoy the sunset over the river.

    Kim Bồng woodworking village is a village located in Cẩm Kim commune, Hội An, Quảng Nam Province, most notable for its carpentry (including cabinet making and shipbuilding) and traditional woodworking products. Established in the 15th century, it reached its peak in the 18th century, during which time village craftsmen contributed their skills in woodworking to many different projects, including the imperial capital in Huế. Using their shipbuilding skills, they supplied ships and ghe bầu (large boats used for sailing) for the activities of the busy commercial port of Hội An.
