Pomegranat festival is an annual cultural festival that is held in Goychay, Azerbaijan. The festival features Azerbaijani fruit-cuisine mainly the pomegranates from Goychay. At the festival, a parade is held with traditional Azerbaijani dances and Azerbaijani music. The festival usually takes place in November, and attracts about 5000 to 7000 visitors. There are also several competitions such as; the biggest pomegranate or pomegranate eating competition. In 2020, Goychay Pomegranate Festival was inscribed on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity of UNESCO.

We will drive 216 km directly from your hotel to the city of Geichay, where the festival will begin. The festival is held once a year, and this year it takes place on November 8 and 9. The festival will feature a musical program, national dances, contests, and farmers will showcase their harvest. Visitors can enjoy pomegranate juice, purchase pomegranate sauce, pomegranate jam, and sample pomegranate-based dishes.
