Sanzen-in Temple (Approximately 140 minutes, free to move around, including lunch time, please pay for your own). [Sanzen-in Temple] is located in Ohara, Luobei, Kyoto. It is one of the three temples of Tiantai Sect. Sanzen-in's vast temple boasts towering old trees, moss everywhere, gurgling streams, cherry blossoms in April, azaleas in May, hydrangea in July, and red leaves in autumn. The natural scenery is always pleasing to the eye all year round. The two ponds designed by Kanamori Munakazu , the spring-style gardens "Jubi Garden" and "Youqing Garden" are the best places to enjoy the scenery of Sanqianyuan in all four seasons. The main wooden statue of Amitabha Buddha in the temple and the accompanying statues on both sides are national cultural treasures. Arashiyama (about 2hours of free time) The Arashiyama area is divided into two parts, Arashiyama and Sagano. This area not only has rich cultural attractions but also has natural scenery that changes with the seasons and retro trains. Home to many ancient temples and shrines, and Tenryuji Temple is one of the world's most beautiful places. A heritage-level monument, there is a famous bamboo forest trail from the Nonomiya Shrine to Okochi Sanso. As a popular tourist destination for cherry blossom viewing and maple viewing, Arashiyama attracts a large number of visitors each spring and autumn. The Sagano Train is often hard to find, but it is quiet in winter and summer, making it a good option for travelers who prefer tranquility. The Arashiyama area has many well-established restaurants, Japanese confectionery shops, and cute grocery stores. You can also rent kimonos and rickshaws, making it a great place to unwind.

Sagano Bamboo Forest is located in Arashiyama. The bamboo forest trail is approximately 500 meters in length. You can visit the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest by walking through Nonomiya Shrine and towards Okouchi Villa. As you walk through the bamboo forest, you can hear the natural sound of the wind blowing through the bamboo leaves. This sound has been rated as one of Japan's 100 most worth preserving. This is also the location where Ang Lee filmed "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon". The Tenryuji Temple in the trail has a beautiful Japanese garden. During the Arashiyama Lantern Festival every December, the bamboo forest and Togetsukyo Bridge are illuminated with dazzling lights, which is a unique sight in winter.
Arashiyama Station Foot Bath Hot Spring. In the HANNARI-HOKKORI Plaza, there is a Japanese-style footbath located at Arashiden Arashiyama Station. The footbath is modeled after JR Kyushu Yufuin Station. You can purchase seasonal desserts at the store next to it and enjoy them while enjoying them. Enjoy the footbath while savoring it. Let the water from Arashiyama Hot Spring fully relieve your fatigue after a walk.
