Explore the marvelous temples of the Angkor region for 3 days straight. Day 1 of the tour starts with pick up from the hotel at 8:00 AM. First, you need to buy a temple pass which is valid for 3 days. You'll visit Beng Mealea temple, the large sandstone temple that dwells in the jungle and gives off some mystery-like vibes. Then reach a local restaurant for lunch. Please mention your food preferences to our guide before stopping by for lunch. Next, enjoy the freshwater of Tonle Sap Lake, the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia. Followed by a visit to the floating village of Kampong Phluk also known as the 'Harbor of the Tusks'. See the village community going on with their daily lives. By the end, you will be back at your hotel.
On day 2, the pick-up is at 8:00 AM. You'll see the ancient capital city of Khmer, Angkor Thom with our guide. Do bring your temple pass with you. We will also be stopping by a few smaller temples - Chau Say Tevoda, Thommanon, and Ta Keo before heading to jungle enveloped Ta Prohm. After visiting the most photogenic and atmospheric Ta Prohm temple, you are going to enjoy lunch on the local itinerary. Next, you'll visit the Banteay Kdei temple which is built in a very similar style to Ta Prohm. Our professional guide will educate you about the Khmer empire and temples throughout the tour. By the end of day 2, behold a beautiful sunset sight at Phnom Bakheng.
The tour of the final day or Day 3 starts at 5:00 AM. Get picked up to see the sunrise at the Angkor Wat complex. After that, you will visit Pre Rup or Banteay Samre. You can tell your guide which temple you want to go to. We will also be going to the Banteay Srey temple to get the blessings of the Hindu god Shiva. Thereafter enter a traditional Khmer village. Learn about palm sugar production by the Khmer people. Learn more about the dark Cambodian history, the genocide, the civil war, and foreign conflicts the nation has faced. Next is the time for lunch at a regional restaurant. While going back to the hotel, make a stop at Ta Som, Neak Pean, East Mebon, and Preah Khan temples. We will also pass by some gorgeous villages as well before dropping you off at the hotel.
