What to expect

Ansan Jarak-gil (Ansan Dulle-gil) is a scenic walking trail on Mount Ansan near Sinchon, rising to 296 meters. The 7km round-trip trail takes about 2.5 hours and is popular among Seoulites for both relaxation and light hiking.

The path winds through cherry blossoms, birch, and metasequoia trees, offering tranquil, seasonal views. At the summit, a traditional beacon mound (bongsudae) provides panoramic views of Seoul, including Bukhansan and the Han River.

A wooden deck path makes the trail family-friendly and accessible. Nearby spots like Hongjecheon Stream, Bongwonsa Temple, and Yonsei University are also worth exploring.

The trail is especially popular in spring during cherry blossom season
