It provides spectacular beauty along the border of Nepal and Tibet. The Manaslu circuit trek now usually starts in Arughat and ends to 14 days later in Besisahar, the starting point of the Annapurna circuit Trek.

Welcome to the country of Top of The World! As you arrive in Tribhuvan International Airport, our representatives will receive you and transfer to the hotel and check into the hotel there is time for a cup of tea, shower and then a chance to see the tourist district of Kathmandu by night as we go for dinner before an early night!
We leave Kathmandu early and drive to Machchhe Khola via Sotikhola and Arughat, it is around 11 hours drive and on the way we will be able to enjoy the Nepalese countryside along with the mountain sceneries. Some of the roads will be rough bumpy so a bus journey in Nepal is always part of the adventure and one you will not forget!
We follow the narrow trail and eventually we cross the Tharo Khola River and reaching Khorlabesi. After a few more ups and downs we come across a small Hotspring in Tatopani. From the hot spring, we climb over another ridge, then cross the Budhi Gandaki on a suspension bridge. After this we climb on a wide, well-crafted staircase, then across a landslide and over a ridge to Dobhan. After another suspension bridge over the Yaru Khola, we climb the stone stairs and then drop to the river and again climb more stone stairs to Tharo Bharyang. Crossing the west bank of the Budhi Gandaki, we climb over a ridge, and then trek along the river and then climb towards the village of Jagat. (1410m) in tea house.
We begin today’s trek by climbing over a rocky ridge to Salleri, after the descent to Sirdibas the valley widens a bit as the trail continues up to Ghatta Khola. We will then reach Philim, a large Gurung village. After this we continue the trek to Ekle Bhatti, where the route now enters a steep, uninhabited gorge. At this point, we descend to the grassy land slopes, cross the Budhi Gandaki and then continue along crossing a few times. As we continue through the trail the valley widens and we pass through bamboo forests to the Deng Khola. Upon crossing the Khola, we reach the tiny village of Deng. (1800m).
Beyond Deng, we cross the Budhi Gandaki and climb to Rana at 1910m. The trail passes through forests and mani stones. We reach Prok village which has a viewpoint for a beautiful sight of Siringi Himal. We follow the river upstream through a dense forest. After crossing the river at an impressive spot where it thunders down a narrow gorge, the forest becomes less dense. The pleasant walk continues and after a last steep climb we reach Namrung (2630m).
At Namrung we have great view for Siring, Ganesh Himal and Mt. Himal Chuli in the south. We climb steadily and pass through forests and reach Lihi, and then we drop and cross the side valley of Simnang. We will reach the village of Lho where we can enjoy views of Mt. Manaslu and also explore the famous Ribung Gompa. In Shyala village we will be surrounded by mountains which amazing photo opportunities Samagaon where we spend the night. (3530m).
We stay in Samagaon today in order to help with the acclimatisation and also to give us an opportunity to explore and learn about the local culture. We can enjoy the sight of thousands of mani stones with Buddhist texts and pictures and the Sherpa women clad in traditional clothes and ornaments. On a little hill near the Sama village is an old Gompa (Pungyen Gompa), a monastery with great views of the glacier.
We begin with descend to the Budhi Gandaki River and we join the Larkya la Trail and pass several mani walls as the valley begins to widen. It is an easy trail above the river passing the juniper and birch forests of Kermo Kharka. We go down to cross the Budhi Gandaki on a wooden bridge and climb steeply onto a promontory between two forks of the river. From a stone arch we can view a large white kani. Finally passing through the kani we find Samdo (3860m)
This is another day set aside for acclimatization. We will walk up the valley from Samdo this will take us to one of the trade passes to Tibet for excellent views of Mt. Manaslu along with other Himalayan ranges including Simrang, Hiunchuli, Ngadi, Larkye Peak, Cheo and possibly Kang Guru. We will be able to enjoy the views and see many types of wildlife and birds.
We continue our trek by going down to cross the wooden bridge over Budi Gandaki, we then begin walking upward. Upon crossing two streams and witnessing the Larkya Glacier we go around the valley of the Salka Khola and climb up again to the stone guest house (4450 m). It is a short walk today also leaves plenty of time for acclimatization and relaxing in the afternoon. Overnight in Dharmashala. (4460m).
We begin today with a short climb until we reach a valley on the north side of the Larkya Glaciers from where we can enjoy great views of Cho Danda and Larkya Peak. Finally, we walk across moraines of the glacier, making a gradual ascent which becomes steeper only in the last section of the pass. This is the highest point of the trek at the top of the pass at 5160m. There are outstanding views of Himlung Himal, Cheo Himal, Kangguru and the huge Annapurna II. It is a longer day to Bimtang, but to walk into these low pastures with the evening mist coming in with Mt. Manaslu is an unforgettable experience. Overnight in Bimthang (3700m).
From Bimthang, we can enjoy great views of Mt. Manaslu, Lamjung Himal, Himlung Himal and Cheo Himal. We descend further and cross a high pasture followed by a bridge over Dudh Khola. We walk through rhododendron forest and follow a trail through a narrow valley. We pass across fields before making a steep climb over a ridge. The trail comes off the ridge in a big, sweeping arc to the river bank at 2580m. We continue until we reach the village at Tilije where we spend the night. (2300m).
Today we climb over a small ridge and enjoy the stone paved trail as it passes through villages so again we can see local cutlure. We then cross the bridge over Dudh Khola and climb up through a chorten-shaped arch, pass a mani wall and reach the Thonje village. We continue a gradual walk along the river crossing a few bridges until we reach the village of Dharapani, a large Gurung village (1700m). Then we will take the local jeep down to Besi Sahar which takes 6 – 7 hours. When we are at Besi Sahar than we will get better hotel then on the way trek! where the group is free to shower, relax for the last day od trek.
oday we will take the bus back to Kathmandu which takes 5 – 6 hours. Once back in Kathmandu we will go to the hotel where the group are free to shower, relax and go shopping. We will meet in the evening for a farewell group dinner.
