Your day begins on the water with our Wildlife, Sightseeing & Whale Quest Boat Tour. Cruise through the Tongass Narrows as your guide shares stories of Ketchikan’s history and shoreline, then head into prime wildlife areas where you may spot humpback whales, bald eagles, harbor seals, and seabirds that thrive in Southeast Alaska. With complimentary snacks, drinks, and rain gear on board, you’ll be comfortable while taking in the sights.
After the boat adventure, continue exploring by land on our City Highlights, Herring Cove & Saxman Totem Park Van Tour. Travel south to Herring Cove, where bears, seals, and eagles gather to feed on salmon. Visit Saxman Totem Park, home to the world’s largest collection of standing totem poles, and hear the rich cultural stories they represent. Finish the tour with a drive through historic Creek Street and a stop at the salmon ladder, where five species of Pacific salmon make their amazing upstream journey.
