The day of the dead in Mexico was born in Michoacan. Experience as a Mexican the traditional custom of Día de Muertos in 5 wonderful traditional villages: Morelia, Tzintzuntzan, Santa Fé de la Laguna, Pátzcuaro and the island of Janitzio.You will dine on a typical dish made by cooks with pre-Hispanic recipes and unique Día de Muertos gastronomy such as pan de muerto. Afterwards you visit Tzintzuntzan to learn about the traditional church and cemetery as well as the offering of Don Vasco de Quiroga, the first bishop of Michoacán. You will also visit Patzcuaro, a magical town in Mexico where you will cross in a boat to the island of Janitzio, where everything started. Important note: This tour is for adventurers, starting at 1:00 pm and ending the following day 12:00 pm. You will stay up all night in an ancient cemetery living a real tradition.     The tour starts at 1 :00 pm from the Starbucks of the Fiesta Americana Reforma hotel to Morelia, Michoacan, a 100% colonial city where you will visit the historic center for a quick photo.

    We leave for Santa Fe de la Laguna and Capula, Purépechas villages, where you will admire the monumental clay Catrina where you can take a photo and take a souvenir. At the beginning of the tour you will visit traditional offerings of houses in the region and we will tell you the story of this wonderful festival.

You will visit one of the emblematic cemeteries of culture in Mexico and live in the flesh the traditional evening in the pantheon, with luminous flowers, skulls, candles dedicated to the dead and aroma of copal, the instrument that for the indigenous people, purifies the soul so that the dead enter their home without any danger. You will stay up all night in an ancient cemetery living a real tradition. You will be able to sleep during the journeys that go from 30 to 90 minutes per town.
