What to expect

Experience the beauty of Zanzibar’s southwest coast on a full-day trip from Stone Town. Start with a scenic drive to Fumba village, the departure point for dolphin-spotting cruises. Board a traditional dhow and cruise through clear blue waters as you look out for playful dolphins—great for photos, though swimming with them isn’t part of the tour.

Continue to a remote sandbank for snorkeling among colorful coral reefs and tropical fish. Then head to Kwale Island for a beachside barbecue lunch, served with fresh local fruits full of Zanzibar flavor.

Spend the afternoon relaxing on white sandy beaches, visiting the island’s leaning baobab tree, or trying your hand at traditional dhow sailing with the crew. Before returning, take a dip in a warm natural lagoon, a peaceful hidden spot along the coast. The day ends with a relaxed sail back to Fumba, where your ride will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.
