What to expect
Explore Venice Lido riding a bike and discover the magical atmosphere of the lagoon. Visit Nicelli historical airport (one of the first in Italy), St. Nichol's Abbey and see the ancient St. Andrew's fortress, the Liberty Villas, the Murazzi, Malamocco historical center (first Venetian lagoon civilization centre), the Golf course (one of the oldest and beautiful in Italy), see the Mose (a project intended to protect the city of Venice, Italy, and the Venetian Lagoon from flooding), the beaches with their fine sands. It's possible to reach Pellestrina island (a Lido's twin island) by a 10 minutes ferry boat trip.
