1Cidade Velha
Cidade Velha is one of the most famous and historic cities in the world, due to its high importance in the middle of the 15th, 16th century. It was the largest center of scale for navigators in the countries' discoveries. The largest slave trade center in the world. A city that became very religious since the first construction of its Nossa Senhora da Graça Church in 1495. The ruined monuments bear witness to the various attacks by pirates led by privateers such as the famous Englishman Francis Drake (1585) and Frances Jacques Cassard (1712). Cidade Velha is a World Heritage Site on June 12, 2009 by UNESCO.

2Tarrafal Beach
