With a half-day tour, we customize the unique itinerary that explores places where normal tourists rarely set foot and are not to be found on any travel websites. Sit on the Vespas, you experience the daily rustic life while you cruise through some of the most beautiful tree-lined avenues, colonial streets, hidden food market and the rail track. You also have a glimpse of the sites related to the December 1972 bombing of Hanoi: the B52 lake to see the body of US aircraft. Visit a local beautiful pagoda of the West lake before enjoy a variety of drinks outdoors while observing the life.Then you will take a behind the scenes look at Hanoi’s old apartment buildings and its overhanging “rooms built in the air”. Meet and interact with a little man and enjoy some lovely music performances. Taste "Bun Cha" for the lunch before return to the hotel.

Our guide and experience drivers pick up you at the hotel. Safety briefing then hop on the Vespa for the morning excursion. Stop to see the train street. Running through these narrow residential streets is a railway track that is still in use and twice a day a speeding train passes through, brushing past the shop fronts and houses. The residents know when the train is coming and minutes before its arrival they move their market stalls, playing children and shop displays away from the track, continuing on as normal when the train has passed through. Your guide will time your arrival to witness this incredible event.

Leave the bustling streets, you will arrival to some of the most romantic roads in Hanoi. You make a stop en route to visit an ancient local pagoda, learn about the Buddhism in Vietnam and the custom in ancestor worshiping of Vietnamese. In the panoramic view of the West lake, you enjoy a drink outdoor of tea, coffee, beer and snacks.

Drive pass the Bonsai market you arrival to Thanh Cong apartment buildings area. Walk to take a behind the scene look at Hanoi’s old apartment buildings and its overhanging “rooms built in the air”. Take a seat in a small, dark sidewalk shop, meet and interact with an enthusiast musician and enjoy some lovely performances. Then take a drive to local restaurant where you can taste “Bún chả” - rice noodle eat with BBQ pork and seafood spring rolls, dipping sauce with young papaya and some other spices for the lunch.
