What's Included
Meeting and pickup
The boat taxi from Taiohae to Hakaui Valley departs at 8:30 a.m. from the fishing port in the center of town. Payment in local currency needs to be made directly to the boat taxi company. (This is not our service and we don't take any commission.) We will meet you on the Hakaui beach upon arrival.

8:30 – Scenic boat ride from Taiohae to Hakaui 9:00 – Warm welcome from Ana & Tangy 9:30 – Visit to Hakaui Village 10:00 – Hike to Vaipo Waterfall & ancient sites (3.5-hour roundtrip) 13:30 – Homemade lunch 14:30 – Discover authentic Marquesan artwork 15:00 – Swim and relax on the beach 15:30 – Return boat ride to Taiohae
