Airport Seymour of Baltra GPS
Arrival at Baltra airport and personalized welcome (Poster with names and waiting guide) to go to Puerto Ayora, Santa Cruz Island. We will leave the airport to get on bus lobito that will take us to the canal of Itabaca. We will board a barge to cross the channel of Itabaca (maximum sailing time 10min). The guide will take you to Puerto Ayora for lunch. Then, you will take the small public boat to Isabela.
Upon arrival in Isabela you will head to Flamingo Lagoon, which is the largest coastal lagoon found in Galapagos and is one of the main breeding sites for most of the flamingos.

Wetlands are a complex of trails, located south of Isla Isabela, Galapagos. They have a great variety of flora and fauna, as well as the spectacular landscapes of the bay. We will visit the most interesting spots in Isabela. In this tour you will find: sea lions, marine iguanas, blue footed boobies, crabs, sea turtles, pelicans and the peculiar Galapagos penguins. Then we will move to a sea inlet on the islet to snorkel, the site is ideal for this activity because a variety of faune.
Ferry to Santa Cruz Island: After breakast, go to the dock and ask for boat, same boat as the day before) Boat drops you off on dock of Puerto Ayora. Charles Darwin Scientific Station: is an Interpretation Center open to the public and you can also learn about the breeding program for giant tortoises in captivity and their repatriation.
Tortuga Bay, Higher land, and Twins. After breakfast, you will be taken to the cobbled trail that leads to Tortuga Beach and has to be covered by foot. You will be able to catch glimpses of quintessential animal and plant species, particularly the lava lizards, finches, cactus, and others. You will arrive at the beach encircled by mangroves, a nesting place for turtles and marine iguanas. It is recommended to bring along a bathing suit, garbage bags, and some snacks. As the tour proceeds, you will leave for the upper part of Santa Cruz Island, where your guide will take you to three celebrated tourist points. Rancho Primicias, the natural habitat of turtles; Lava Tunnels, narrow tunnels created due to the continuous lava flow and the Twin Craters, two subsidence of land formed due to volcanic depression and are inhabited by prevailing plant species such as scalesias, mosses, and orchids.
First, you will visit the "Lobería". It is a small island located two miles away, where the sea lions, a lot of invertebrates, fish and sea lions.Then we moved to "Channel Shark" is a fissure or crack crevices formed by magmatic chamber where the sharks are sleeping sharks ravine and are completely harmless. In the beach you will see flamingos, sea lions, and blue-footed boobies, that is part of its unique charm. Garrapatero Beach is a great place to snorkel, dive, swim or just relax and enjoy the sky, swimming or just relaxing. If you have half a day or more to spare on the island of Santa Cruz, El Garrapatero is definitely a recommended excursion.
After breakfast, you will leave the hotel and start your tour to San Cristobal Island. The boat from Santa Cruz to San Critobal leaves at 6 AM. Our next stop will be La Loberia Beach, famous for its sea lions which can be spotted resting on the rocks. You will be welcome to swim and snorkel amongst sea turtles and lions. After spending the afternoon at the beach, you will be returned to the hotel. Lunch and dinner will be arranged by us.
In the afternoon, we will head towards the Interpretation Centre of the National Park of San Cristobal. Here you will delve into the dramatic history and facts that led to the origin of the islands and the endemic species that abide in them. After learning the particulars about the island, we will head towards Playa Mann Beach, which is just a minute away from the Interpretation Center. Here you can directly encounter one of the breathtaking areas of the island and swim amongst the diverse species. After the swim, you will be dropped off at your hotel at night. Dinner will be provided free of cost as part of the Package.
The second day will initiate an appetizing breakfast to recharge you for the adventures ahead. Our first stop will be Cerro Tijeretas, one of the rare places where you can glimpse two different species of frigate birds inhabiting a single colony. You will stroll along the dry forest and will be able to observe the blue- footed, masked boobies and other distinctive birds.
It is a white sand beach formed by the fragmentation of shells, the clarity of its waters allows the practice of snorkeling. Due to its proximity to the town center this place is for recreational use and it is also a place where it is possible to enjoy the best sunsets. You can practice: snorkeling, swimming, kayaking and photography.
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and dropped off at the Isla San Cristobal Airport, where you will take your return flight.
