We depart from Olympia bound to Delphi. We cross the bridge of the Rio - Antirrio. The bridge connects the Peloponnese with the Greek mainland through the Corinth Strait. The bridge, with a length of 2,883 meters, required unique techniques to protect its structure in extreme conditions.
Arrival at Delphi
Tour at the archaeological site of Delphi. Via Sacra, Treasury of Athens, Temple of Apollo. Panoramic view from the height of the local theater.
Tour to the museum. In the local Museum the bronze figure called "L’auriga de Delphi" predominates, representing a young Delphic athlete in the oldest empty bronze.
Pass by the town of Arachova, famous for its local crafts.
Departure from Delphi with destination to Kalambaka
Morning visit in two monasteries. The Meteora Monasteries are located on the Thessaly plain, in northern Greece. They have been classified as a World Heritage Site by Unesco since 1988. It is a visit dedicated to Byzantine art.
We make a brief stop at the statue of Leonidas in Thermopylae where the famous battle took place in 480 BC. c.
