Our safari starts with a visit to reindeer farm. We meet with an authentic reindeer herder, see these beautiful animals, feed them and hear about their lifecycle from the herder. We greeted by the friendly furry friends and the husky musher. Perfect chance to take photos of the reindeer and huskies and see how lives at the farm are. Before continuing our journey we sit down by the fireplace to relax with a cup of coffee and hear stories about the animals.

What to expect

Our safari starts with a visit to a local reindeer and husky farm right outside of Rovaniemi. We will start with a guided tour at the farms. We meet with an authentic reindeer herder and husky musher and have a chance to take photos of the reindeer and huskies and see how life on the farms is. Before continuing our journey of the day we sit down by the fire place to relax with a cup of coffee and listen to stories about life with reindeer and huskies.

We finish the day with a visit to Santa Claus Village on the Arctic Circle and have a look at the numerous souvenir shops, Santa’s Main Post Office and surely we get to meet the man himself in his office.
