Affordable and accessible adventure. Close to the city but you feel miles away. Peaceful and tranquil, an opportunity to connect with the river, its community, its history and each other, or to get isolated by your self.
This is an easy adventure for a family, a date or a group. Easy to book, easy to access and as easy or hard as you like.
Take an hour and enjoy the river then the park or it's surrounds. Take a day and explore far and wide. We can provide a picnic hamper.
Watch out for special events to really experience the river in a new way.

Meeting point

We are located on the water at Kendrick Park, it is a small park, so our orange canoes and kayaks will be easy to spot. There is plenty of parking in View St enter off Pacific Hwy. We are also only 5 minutes walk from Tempe train station. Tempe train station is only 3 stops from central.

What to expect

Our canoes and kayaks are perfect for beginning and experienced paddlers alike. They are super stable, comfortable and you get everything you need for a long or short trip. The river is perfect for feeling you are miles from the city. Mangroves, jumping fish and wild birds abound. Spot little crabs and Oysters on the banks.
Each rental comes with Life Preservers, dry bag and phone protector so you can grab that excellent photo for the social feeds. We welcome kids (over 3) and pets. (life jackets not included for pets).
On the day we will give you a safety briefing, comprehensive instructions and support for novices and can suggest short and long trips to satisfy your urge to be in the thick of it, or away from it all.
Kendrick Park is a short walk from the bustling centre of Wolli Creek, with eateries, supermarkets, cafes and shopping.
