    Ancient City of Ephesus

    A fully-customized tour from Kusadasi to the Ancient City of Ephesus that’s tailored to your schedule. After 25 minutes drive, we will first visit Ephesus, that was witnessed the cultural traditions of Hellenistic, Roman and early Christian periods. You will stroll along the marble roads once roamed by toga-clothed Romans. You will see the most important artifacts such as detailed friezes to statues, terrace houses, fascinating Library of Celsus and spectecular theatre. After Ephesus visit, your guide can suggest an itinerary or you can create your own. As enterence fees are at your own expense, you may visit sites such as House of Virgin Mary, Seven Sleepers, Isa bey Mosque, Sirince Village, Selcuk Museum, Basilica of St. John and Artemis Temple. You can also stop by a local restaurant for lunch at your own expense.     Meryemana (The Virgin Mary's House)

    [Optional, regarding to your time and request] A Catholic shrine located on Mt. Koressos, in the vicinity of Ephesus. The house was discovered in the 19th century by following the descriptions in the reported visions of Anne Catherine Emmerich (1774–1824), a Roman Catholic nun and visionary, which were published as a book by Clemens Brentano after her death. While the Catholic Church has never pronounced in favor or against the authenticity of the house, the site has nevertheless received a steady flow of pilgrimage since its discovery. It is also an interesting visit site for Turkish tourists as in Islam there is big respect to Mother Mary.

    Basilica of St. John

    [Optional, regarding to your time and request] The ruins of Saint John's Basilica which was constructed by Justinian in the 6th century. It stands over the believed burial site of John the Apostle. It was modeled after the now lost Church of the Holy Apostles in Constantinople.

    [Optional, regarding to your time and request] A pretty old Orthodox village located on the top of a mountain, anyone will enjoy the impressive wine yards' and peach trees' views on his way. Today the village is a perfect synthesis of Turk-Greek culture. All the narrow streets of the village belong to the women, selling handcrafts of all kinds, olive oil and fruit wines.

    In the Islamic and Christian traditions, the Seven Sleepers, is a medieval legend about a group of youths who hid inside a cave outside the city of Ephesus around AD 250 to escape one of the Roman persecutions of Christians and emerged some 300 years later.
