Keen Japanese Knife Experience in Tokyo

2 hours (approximately)
Offered in: Japanese and 1 more

Blades and Knives in Japan have a long history, the most famous sword being the katana . The techniques for forging blades have been refined over time, and Japanese blades have been considered among the best in the world for many centuries.

Today, the production, purchase and possession of swords are strictly regulated, and new swords are hard to find. With the days of the samurai and battles behind us, the humble kitchen knife has replaced the sword, attracting the attention of cooks the world over.

In this lesson, you will not only learn the specifics of Japanese knives, but you will also learn how to handle them with the chef, cutting vegetables and tuna, which you will be able to taste at the end of the lesson. Become a Japanese knife pro and sign up now for this lesson or experience!
