This tour starts with catching bait fish first.
Once you’ve caught some small horse mackerel (aji), the real fishing begins—using the freshly caught fish as live bait!
All necessary equipment such as fishing rods and reels is included in the tour fee, so you can join empty-handed.
Another unique feature of this tour is the journey to the port: you’ll ride an electric-assist bicycle from the meeting point. After the tour, you can also enjoy a relaxing ride and explore the local area by bike on your way back.

What to expect
① Meet at the harbor and check in
Our friendly staff will greet you at the meeting point. After a quick safety briefing, you’ll board the boat and get ready for your adventure!
② Depart and head to the fishing spot
The boat will take you to a nearby fishing area known for seasonal fish like horse mackerel, mackerel, sardines, and Japanese whiting.
③ Learn the basics
Our guide will show you how to use the rod, reel, and bait. Even if it’s your first time, don’t worry — we’ll help every step of the way!
④ Enjoy fishing!
Try catching different types of local fish. The fishing depth is shallow (15–30 meters), making it easy and fun for everyone.
⑤ Return to the harbor
After fishing, we’ll head back to the harbor. If you catch anything, you may be able to take it home (ask staff on the day for details).
