Pick-up from hotels in Bariloche is included. Pick-up time from your hotel will be at approximately 9:00 a.m. If your hotel is NOT listed, please provide your hotel name when booking in the “Special Requirements” box. If you are staying at an Airbnb, please let us know its name and address and you MUST give your phone number so that we can reach you if needed. Pick-up not included on hotels located in the outskirts of the city, such as those located at Dina Huapi. In this case, the traveller must pay an extra cost for the transfer to the city centre.

    Lake Moreno is a glacial-origin lake with more temperate waters than other lakes in the area and also a natural border of the Llao Llao Municipal Park. The reserve is composed of a vast Patagonian Andean Forest, known in Spanish as “bosque de montaña”, and was created for the preservation of species and genetic diversity.

    Once at the coast of Lake Moreno, you will have an introduction to the basic technique of touring kayaking and safety equipment. Afterwards, the moment you were waiting for: Time to grab your oars and plunge in! From here, you’ll start a 1-hour 30-minutes medium-difficulty kayak through the crystalline lake waters, with the mountains and lush forest as a backdrop. You’ll paddle surrounded by magnificent views of Lopez Mountain, whose steep silhouette dominates the landscape, Capilla Mountain, and nearby the Llao-Llao Hotel. If you get lucky on a blue-sky day, you can also see the Tronador Mountain! Kayaking on this amazing Patagonian lake, in total harmony with nature, is a breathtaking experience. At midday, we’ll share a time to relax on a quiet beach by the lakeshore, where you’ll enjoy a Country Lunch. **Some birds you might see during the paddling: Big macá, white heron, austral bandurria, among others.

    After lunch, go deep into the beautiful coihues forest of Llao Llao Municipal Park and take a 2-hour medium-difficulty hike on Llao Llao Mountain.
