The Serengeti is home to abundant wildlife, including impalas, buffalo's, crocodiles, and hippos. It's especially famous for the great migrating herds: 250,000 zebras, 1.5 million wildebeest, and 500,000 antelopes. The animals' migration is driven by rainfall and varies each year. Besides the migrating herds, you may also see predators like leopards, cheetahs, and lions. After an extensive game drive, you'll return to the camp around 2:00 p.m. to relax, and relive the memories of the day.
After a hearty breakfast, you will set out for a full-day game drive in the Central Serengeti. You'll explore the diverse habitats of this iconic park, including the renowned short grass plains. Witness the awe-inspiring sight of massive herds of wildebeest and zebras. In January, during a brief period of about three weeks, the majority of the wildebeest give birth, with around half a million calves born in a remarkable synchronized birthing event. The open grasslands offer little cover, but the young wildebeest can run within minutes of being born and are typically strong enough to keep up with the herd within three days. after game you will go to Ngorongoro crater for overnight at Simba Campsite
Early risers are rewarded with breathtaking views of the rising sun over the crater’s edge before embarking on a journey to the Ngorongoro Crater after a hearty breakfast. With a dense animal population of approximately 25,000 ungulates, the crater offers the best game viewing in all of Tanzania. Within minutes, you can see wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, elephants, and some of the more than 500 bird species present. With a bit of luck, you might even spot endangered black rhinos grazing in the grass. After an extensive game drive and a picnic lunch, you will leave the crater in the afternoon and travel back to Arusha, where you will be dropped off at your accommodation or the airport.
