Everest Base Camp with Gokyo Lake Trek is one of the best trekking destinations in Nepal.
We take you through some of the most beautiful scenery in Nepal, including the Everest Base Camp, Gokyo Lake, and the Everest View Trek. The main attractions are- Kala Patthar, Thyangboche Monastery, Namche Bazaar, Sherpa Culture, etc.
Make sure to have your passport, visa, and any other necessary travel documents ready for inspection by the authorities.
Our airport representative will be receiving you at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu and s/he will be displaying a Nepal Promote Treks & Expedition signboard outside the airport terminal. You will be then transferred to your respective hotel in our private tourist vehicle. Note: Our guide will provide you with a briefing on the EBC trek, which will serve as your pre-trip meeting. Please ensure that you take this opportunity to ask any questions you may have. At the meeting, your trek leader/guide will be introduced to you. To ensure a smooth meeting, please bring your passport, three passport-sized photos, and a legible copy of your travel insurance policy. Additionally, please settle any due balances and sign the legally binding trip form as well as the non-liability disclaimer during the meeting.
After morning breakfasts at 7, the flight from Kathmandu to Lukla is a smooth one. You'll be met at the airport by your local porter and start trekking along Dudh Koshi towards Cheplung (2,700m) in order to take lunch break at Ghat(2600 M). After an hour's pleasant walk you will arrive at Phakding - where we can stay overnight including meals- breakfast, lunch & dinner.
Today our journey starts at 8 am after a brakfast. We will walk through the Pine Forest along Dudh Koshi and cross tributaries to Sherpa village of Benkar (2,710m), Chumoa(2710 metres) ,Mono(8340 m). Today we'll get our permits checked before enjoying a spectacular view from Thamserku 6618 metre's east side which is located right next door as well! After that follow the river down towards its end point - where it meets Bhote Khangsheti River- one major flowing off upper khumbu.Then, after a steep climb, the road flattens out and we reach Tenzing-Hilary Bridge. Lunchtime will be at a convenient point during the day. Our journey begins at 8 am, with a rest day recommended for acclimatization. We'll stay active by climbing high and sleeping low for optimal atmosphere conditions. Enjoy Nepal's highest restaurants, colourful markets, and a visit to Sagarmatha National Park for a deeper understanding of Sherpa culture and local flora & fauna. Stop at Khumjung village and witness the locals' way of life. Lunchtime will be at a convenient point during the day. You can also take time out on your hike at Khumjung village (3870 metres) where you will be able to see how they live their lives with more insight than Namche could offer if that's what interests you.Then make your way to Namche with a stop at the Everest View Hotel (3,880 m). Stay at Namche, home to travelers on their way up or down from Nepal's highest mountain, and indulge in delicious meals prepared by local chefs around 7 pm.
Today we start our day at 8 am with a quick climb followed by a flat trail to reach Kyanjuma. Then walk downhill until Phunki Tenga and cross the Dudh Koshi River at last! Lunchtime will be at a convenient point during the day. As night approaches, you'll sleep in style inside one of these Buddhist Monastery Temples - they're known for being very comfortable places where pilgrims go when looking forward to calming their mind before bedtime begins.
We start our journey early in the morning around 8 am. After departing from Tengboche, the trail descends to Debuche before crossing yet another exhilarating suspension bridge over the Imja Khola. We then ascend to Pangboche, where we'll be surrounded by thousands of mani stones. Continuing our uphill journey, we will arrive at the charming and traditional Sherpa village of Dingboche, which boasts breathtaking views of Lhotse, Island Peak, and Ama Dablam. We will pace ourselves to prevent any negative effects of altitude.
We aill start our journey at 8 am. On this day, we have arranged an acclimatization activity and will not be making progress towards Everest Base Camp. Instead, we will embark on a hike to Nangkartshang Peak, located just above Dingboche. The peak serves as an excellent viewpoint, especially for the stunning Ama Dablam. Lunchtime will be at a convenient point during the day. If the weather permits, we will be able to observe Ama Dablam from its summit all the way down to its base. You may spend the rest of the afternoon leisurely exploring the village or resting.
Starting at 8 am, we will resume our trek along the lateral moraine of the Khumbu Glacier, passing by stone memorials dedicated to climbers who have lost their lives on nearby summits. We will steadily ascend towards the village of Lobuche, which sits at the base of the massive Lobuche Peak. As we continue to climb, altitude-related breathing difficulties may arise.
Our upcoming adventure will be a challenging one We will be starting early in the morning at around 8 am. As we will embark on a big day walk along the Khumbu Glacier towards Everest Base Camp (5,364m). This part of the trail will take us to the last settlement in Khumbu - Gorakshep, where we will stop for lunch before continuing towards our final destination. The terrain will be diverse, featuring rocks, moraines, streams, and glaciers, but we will soon be rewarded with breathtaking views that are truly unforgettable. Upon arriving at Everest Base Camp, we will be standing at an altitude of 5,365m, the closest one can get to Mt. Everest without mountaineering equipment. During the spring, we may encounter expedition teams preparing to attempt the summit. The Khumbu Icefall view from Base Camp is absolutely spectacular. After taking in the beauty of the surroundings, we will return back to Gorak Shep for the night.
We will start our trek early in the morning, at 8 am after breakfast at 7, as we prepare for one of the most difficult yet rewarding days of our journey. We will spend most of the morning climbing Mt. Kala Patthar, a small peak that sits at an elevation of 5,555m. While the ascent is demanding, the effort will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. From the summit of Kala Patthar, we will be able to witness an incredible mountain panorama, with Mt. Everest, the highest point on the planet at 8,848m, towering directly ahead. We will also be able to marvel at the sight of other giants such as Nuptse, Pumori, Chagatse, Lhotse, and countless others that surround us on all sides. We will be spending only 30 minutes at our destination. And continue our trek down to Pheriche.
This morning around at 8 am we will visit Dzongla after breakfast at 7 am, a 4830 metre peak which is also known as Dragnag. The elevation of this mountain range makes for some great hiking and camping opportunities with overnight accommodations at one of the camp sites along their trails.
The day began with a two hour walk to Dragnag and we will start it at 8 am. The highest point on this journey at 4700 metres. From there we descended into Gokyo Valley & spend 7 hours and spent an evening lodged in one of their cosy lodges. The valley is known for its breathtaking natural beauty, including turquoise lakes, stunning glaciers, and panoramic views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks. One of the main attractions of Gokyo Valley is the series of six glacial lakes, known as the Gokyo Lakes, which are considered sacred by both Hindus and Buddhists. These crystal-clear lakes are situated at varying altitudes, with the highest lake at an elevation of 4,700m, and offer stunning reflections of the surrounding mountains. Another highlight of the Gokyo Valley trek is the opportunity to climb Gokyo Ri, a peak that sits at an altitude of 5,357m. From the summit, trekkers can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, and other nearby peaks.
We start our trek at 8 am. We will be spending the day for about 10 hours trek by Gokyo to Phortse Thanga (3,680 m). One of the main attractions is the stunning views of the Himalayan mountain range, including Mount Everest, Cho Oyu, Lhotse, and Gokyo Ri. Additionally, the trek takes you through picturesque villages and offers the opportunity to interact with the local Sherpa people and experience their unique culture. The trail also passes through scenic landscapes, including forests, rivers, and glaciers, making it a truly unforgettable experience.
We begin our journey around 8 am. The journey to Phorchethanga (2850m)is a tough one, but the view from our campsite at 2800 metres up in Claus fields is absolutely breathtaking. Phakding is a small village located in the Khumbu region of eastern Nepal, and it serves as a popular stop for trekkers and climbers en route to Mount Everest Base Camp. You can see traditional Sherpa houses, beautiful mountain scenery, and the rushing waters of the Dudh Koshi River. The village is surrounded by lush forests and offers panoramic views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks. You may also encounter yaks and other local wildlife along the way. Additionally, there are several monasteries in the area, such as the Monastery of Phakding, where you can learn about the local culture and history.
Today is the last day of trekking but not the trip. We will start our day at 8 am after a breakfast. On our last day of trekking, we'll retrace our steps back to Lukla, following the beautiful Dudh Koshi river. In the evening, we'll have the perfect opportunity to celebrate with our Sherpa guides and porters by throwing a farewell party. We can enjoy some local beer, called chang, which is a popular drink in the mountains, and even join in on some traditional Sherpa dancing. This is a great time to reflect on our amazing trekking experience and create lasting memories with our new friends. Lunchtime will be at a convenient point during the day.
We start our day early have a breakfast at 7 am and, packing our belongings and heading towards the airstrip to catch a flight back to Kathmandu at around 8 am. Upon touchdown, you will have the rest of the day free to explore the city and do as you, like.

The Kathmandu is a vibrant city that combines a rich history and diverse cultures, making it a must-visit destination for tourists. Our guided tour will take us to explore some of the city's most famous landmarks, including Boudhnath, the largest Buddhist stupa in Nepal, and Pashupatinath, a popular Hindu shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. We will also visit Patan, also known as Lalitpur, which is located just 5km away from Kathmandu. Here, we will wander through Patan Durbar Square, admiring the stunning Malla-era architecture, including the Mahaboudha Temple, Kumbeshwor Temple, Krishna Temple, and Golden Temple. These magnificent structures are sure to leave a lasting impression on any visitor to the area. Lunchtime will be at a convenient point during the day.
After breakfast at the hotel, Your trip comes to an end today. If you have more time you can do some last minute shopping. A representative from our office will take you to the airport approximately 3 hours before the scheduled flight.
