During this private shore excursion to Rome, you can explore the city's rich history and iconic landmarks at your own pace. We specifically decided to offer this tour without entering the Colosseum or the Vatican. There is so much to see in Rome, and time is never enough, especially if you are on a shore excursion and have to be back at the ship. In this way, the whole experience is more relaxed and comprehensive.

    The catacombs of Saint Callixtus are an extensive network of underground burial chambers. They are known for their historical significance as the burial place of numerous early Christian martyrs and popes. Tickets can be purchased on site, at 10 euros per adult, and 7 euros for kids up to 16yo. It is closed on Wednesday, but in that case the nearby Catacumbs of Saint Sebastian are open, at the same price.
