Go dogsledding in the heart of Alaska with our powerful Alaskan Huskies. The golden heart of Alaska ,Fairbanks is your starting point to your journey with our amazing sleddog team. Learn to control your own dog team on your own sled , guided by our experienced mushers which did 1000 mile long-distance races as the Iditarod and Yukon Quest. You'll prepare your team with putting on harnesses and putting them in line. With 4-6 dogs in front of your sled your adventure begins. You'll get all informations about sledding before when you are on the sled then you have to handle your team by your own while following your guide. Are you ready for this adventure, then join our team and be a part of it!! We make plenty of pictures of your tour and you get connected to your beautiful dog team and get amazed of their dog power!

Please pass the Fox Gas Station and continue Steese highway up the hill. Turn left where the first rd sign is- Old Murphy Dome Rd. Continue about 5 miles from the Elliot highway until you see the sign on the left side : Alaska Wilderness Adventures. Continue to the parking place. We will meet you.

Itinerary

    Fairbanks

    You will mush your own team of Alaskan Huskies from our Dog yard through the rolling hills outside of Fairbanks.The tour has great views and beautiful trails to offer. You’ll meet our friendly, excited dogs born to run. You’ll learn how to put on a harness and how to put the dogs in line. You’ll learn how to use the brakes on your sled and how to help pushing the sled uphill -the commands for left and right -haw and gee… You will get a great insight in the art of mushing you maybe can’t get enough from it ! We will stop halfway through our tour for taking pictures and to give the dogs a short break with a little snack. Soon you’ll understand why the dogs are born to run. Get ready to swap places on the sled and continue home. You’ll be guided by our guides who have many years of experience in 1000 mile races like the Iditarod and Yukon Quest. The tour starts at 10 am and will end after around 1 pm . We are wrapping the day up with a warm beverage and cookies in our cozy yurt.
