Yeghushor is a traditional cheese dish typically eaten by mountain shepherds in the Lori province, prepared with fresh local cheese and bread.

What's Included

You’ll cook and eat “yegh u shor,” a dish typical to Armenia’s Lori Province.
Guide: You will be led by a local chef throughout your cooking class.
Coffee, tea, water, and local juices come standard with your experience.

What to expect

Join us at our eco camp ground in the beautiful village of Dsegh to learn how to make a traditional hot dish from the Lori region of Armenia, learning something new and tasting delicious local Armenian foods! During your experience you’ll make “yegh u shor,” a traditional cheese dish typically eaten by mountain shepherds in the Lori province, using fresh local cheese and bread. FYI, this is a heavy but super tasty dish. Our village chef will guide you through your cooking experience, sharing with you the origins of this dish and what it means for local people. Then, you’ll sit down and enjoy your freshly made creation! Part of the profits from this experience go to support the annual Edible Plants in Armenian Cuisine Festival that takes place in our village.
