After breakfast, Departure to Ouarzazate via the mountains of the high Atlas passing through the Tizin’Tichka pass at an altitude of 2260m.
This is your route to the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah and also to Ouarzazate, a famous route in the High Atlas Mountains.
You will have 1 hour of free time to climb the small hill crossing the village listed as a UNESCO heritage site and see the Kasbah from all angles.
Ouarzazate is a city south of Morocco's High Atlas Mountains, known as the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Its kasbahs and the surrounding rocky landscape appear in several films. A road winds southeast, through the lush palm groves of the Drâa Valley, towards the desert. Lunch optional in Ouarzazate.
Continuation to Zagora via the mountains of the Anti-Atlas, the Draa valley with its numerous palm groves and Kasbahs. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
After breakfast, excursion to Tamegroute, visit the famous library with its old books and documents dating from the 12th century.

In the past, it was a strategic location controlled by the Glaoui for the Saharan caravan route in West Africa. Although Taourirt was the main residence of Glaoui, it did not house the main chiefs there. Instead, it housed the second level of command, namely the sons, servants, cousins, builders and artisans of the dynasty.
