This course will help you to prepare for your trip to Poland, make sure you're empowered with travel tips and answers to the commonly asked questions about my home country.

In each of three different 60 minutes sessions we will cover:
1. Polish language with a focus on pronunciation: greetings and farewells, directions, and use of the phrases like “Excuse me”, “I am”, “Where is?” or “How much is?”. We will discuss how to use Google Translate, Chat GPT and Duo Lingo, a free language app.

2. Travel tips with useful handouts that will include: a list of gifts to buy in Poland, the most popular dishes (yes, you will be eating more than just Pierogi!), books and movies to check in your library and online, and a check list of things to prepare before your trip.

3. Presentations about geography, weather, government, currency, history, public holidays, and safety in Poland.

The class will take place in my house in Appleton, WI. We are located on the southern side of Appleton in a quiet, and safe neighborhood.

Whether you are curious about what currency to bring, which type of wall plug you’ll need or what delicious Polish dishes to try, this class will include practical advice on how to get the most of your first trip to Poland.

Each class will last 75min. Session 2 & 3 will be scheduled at the convenience of participants.
