What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Pickup Details: Pickup is 30 minutes before the tour start time from the front of the Nassau Cruise Port. Look for the “Bahamas Velocity Tours” company vehicle with the logo by the water fountain outside the Cruise Terminal. There is a 5-minute wait for latecomers.
What to expect
1. Cruise Port Pick-Up & Transfer to Arawak Cay
8:00 AM – Meet & greet at cruise port.
8:05 AM – Depart via bus for a 10-minute ride to Arawak Cay.
8:15 AM – Arrive at Arawak Cay (5 minutes for safety briefing & scooter assignment).
2. Ride to Fort Charlotte (10-minute ride)
8:20 AM – Depart Arawak Cay for Fort Charlotte.
8:30 AM – Arrive at Fort Charlotte; explore the fort with a guided tour (30 minutes).
9:00 AM – Depart Fort Charlotte.
3. Scenic Stop at Go Slow Bend (10-minute ride)
9:10 AM – Arrive at Go Slow Bend, a prime photo opportunity (10 minutes).
9:20 AM – Depart Go Slow Bend.
4. Turtle Feeding at Cable Beach (15-minute ride)
9:35 AM – Arrive at Cable Beach for turtle feeding experience (20 minutes).
9:55 AM – Depart Cable Beach.
5. Explore Cave Point (15-minute ride)
10:10 AM – Arrive at Cave Point; explore the limestone formations (20 minutes).
10:30 AM – Depart Cave Point.
6. Visit Gambier Village (15-minute ride)
10:45 AM – Arrive at Gambier Village, one of Nassau’s oldest settlements.
Explore historical and cultural sites & interact with locals (40 minutes).
11:25 AM – Enjoy free samples of freshly made conch salad & conch fritters.
11:35 AM – Depart Gambier Village.
BONUS: Quick Stop at Jaws Beach and ride by Cliffton Heritage Park and the Old Slave Steps.
7. Return Ride to Arawak Cay (Starting Point) (50-minute ride)
12:25 PM – Arrive back at Arawak Cay for tour completion.
12:30 PM – Board bus back to cruise port (10 minutes).
12:40 PM – Arrive at cruise port, tour concludes.
