What to expect

Surfside offers private reef fishing charters. There are many options for fishing in Grand Cayman and sure to satisfy even the most experienced angler! The island’s waters are full of fish, including wahoo, tuna, mahi mahi, barracuda, blue marlin and a great variety of tropical fish. We can take you out for fishing trips to suit a variety of skill-levels.

We provide the fishing gear and bait, as well as the captain and mate for your fishing charter, and offer half-day and full-day fishing trips and are happy to leave early, around 7 am if our guests are up to it. While catching is never guaranteed when fishing, we guarantee an entertaining and well-spent day on the water. We have all the equipment and tackle needed to increase the chances of bringing in the big one.
Grand Cayman is almost surrounded by a coral reef that is home to an abundance of tropical fish. These ecosystems are hugely biodiverse – supporting all sorts of marine life. This truly makes Cayman waters a fisherman’s dream! With such a large quantity of fish, reef fishing is a great activity for the whole family, as even the youngest fishers are almost guaranteed success.
