Kimono Experience
We have many types of traditional clothing, from flashy samurai outfits to antique kimonos. our Kimono dressing is quick and easy compared to other types of kimonos. After the scheduled activities in the tour, you can enjoy the town of Zenko-ji and its surroundings. There are fun dining spots and activities nearby.

Making a Strap
Let's make a strap with colors and shapes perfect for exploring Zenko-ji. Making a strap is a mindful activity which is like a Japanese meditation. After making the strap, we will purify it on a crystal.

We use "TonboDama" which is Japanese beads made of glass witch has many types for making accessories.

Please take bus number 16 and get off at Sengoku Iriguchi. Walk up the slope. Turn left at the first intersection with a parking lot, which is the Daimoncho intersection. Proceed 20 meters and you will see on the left

What to expect

Wear a kimono and experience traditional activities around Nagano Zenko-ji. At Rental Kimono Time Traveler, we offer a two-piece kimono that is very easy to wear and affordable. After putting on the kimono, we will guide you to a small group activity of your choice.

At a shop called Gallery Ren, you can make a strap to decorate your kimono. In the morning, choose your favorite kimono at Rental Kimono Time Traveler, and we will help you put it on. Then, we will go to Gallery Ren. Enjoy tea and sweets while learning how to make the strap. Choose beautiful cords and beads, and think about their arrangement. The sparkle of the beads you choose will make your kimono even more beautiful. Let's complete the strap together. Let`s attach it to your obi. After that, enjoy the culture of Zenko-ji Temple.
