Short on time and looking for a fun and unique experience in Barbados?
Step into my home where you’ll be welcomed with a cool local juice, the kind that makes you go ahhh with the first sip.
We'll then explore the colours and flavours of my island’s seasonal fruits. Some you might know, others will surprise you—but all have a story to tell.
This is not our hands-on sorbet workshop (that's a longer experience). This one’s all about tasting and discovery. But you'll still get some behind-the-scenes tips and tricks where you'll learn how I take these amazing fruits and transform them into a refreshing sorbet.
Then comes the best part: a flight of my tasty, small-batch sorbets (made by Cool Comfortz in my home studio). All bursting with island flavour!
We'll follow with a lighthearted fruit-themed game to test your new fruit knowledge (no pressure, just good vibes).
You’ll leave with your taste buds happy, your curiosity fed, and a sweet little slice of Barbados in your heart.

What to expect
Leandra, a local fruit lover and sorbet maker is opening up her home to welcome you in for a relaxed hour that’s all about flavour, fun, and discovering the island’s edible treasures. We’ll start with a tasting of seasonal fruits—some you might know, others might be a complete surprise. She'll guide you through each one, sharing little stories, cultural nuggets, and tips on how we use them here in Bajan life.
You won’t need to slice or prep anything (unless you're itching to help!). Just come curious and hungry to try. Some fruits are served whole, others cracked, peeled, or cut, depending on what’s in season and how best they shine.
Once we’ve tasted the fresh harvest, we’ll cool things down with a sorbet flight made by Cool Comfortz Frozen Delights—fruity, refreshing, and inspired by the very flavours you just explored.
And before we wrap up, there’s a little fruity trivia game to test your tastebud memory (and maybe sneak in a laugh or two).
