The third-generation owner of a long-established dried food shop personally guides you, sharing tips to recreate its rich flavors at home.

Start by making historic Miso-dama — miso and dashi balls once enjoyed by Shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu, then try your skills at making Abura Soba, the savory soupless ramen, tossing noodles in flavorful dashi.

This townhouse, Fuki no Niwa, was used traditionally until 10 years ago. The property includes a garden to enjoy seasonal Japanese plants. With sliding shoji doors and antique furnishings, it offers a nostalgic atmosphere perfect for photos.

Combining culinary history, hands-on fun, and cultural heritage, this program provides an unforgettable journey into Japan’s rich food culture.
