Blåisvatnet, also known as Blåvatnet or "The Blue Lake," is a breathtaking glacier-fed lake nestled in the Lyngen Alps near Svensby in Northern Norway. Renowned for its vibrant turquoise-blue hue, the lake owes its striking color to fine silt particles—glacial flour—carried into the water by meltwater from the nearby Lenangsbreen glacier. These particles reflect sunlight in a way that intensifies the lake's brilliant coloration.
