This is not your typical tourist ride. This experience offers a true off-the-beaten-path adventure through the stunning Oaxaca Valley.

As a passenger on my motorcycle, you’ll get to fully enjoy the breathtaking views, the feeling of freedom, and the peace of mind that comes from being guided by an experienced and safety-conscious rider.

We’ll explore the traditional village of Teotitlán del Valle, ride up scenic mountain trails through remote areas, and arrive at Benito Juárez, a hidden ecotourism center nestled in nature at 2,800 meters (9,186 ft), where we’ll enjoy a traditional lunch.

Along the way, we’ll stop to take photos, chat with locals, and admire the wildlife and landscape that make this region so special.

This tour combines the thrill of the ride, the authenticity of local encounters, and the comfort of letting someone else handle the road—all in one unforgettable experience.

We’ll meet at 8:30 AM at the main square in downtown Oaxaca, known as El Zócalo—right in front of the main entrance to the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Assumption. I’ll be wearing a bright yellow safety vest so you can easily spot me.

Itinerary

Duration: 5 to 6 hours (approximately)

    1. Meeting Point: We’ll meet at 8:30 AM in downtown Oaxaca, on the main square called El Zócalo. (Pickup at another city location can be arranged in advance.) 2. Ride to Teotitlán del Valle (Approx. 45 min): We’ll ride to the traditional Zapotec village of Teotitlán del Valle, famous for its weaving and peaceful atmosphere. 3. Off-Road Adventure (Approx. 45 min): Passing through the village, we’ll start an exciting off-road ride on winding mountain trails that climb in altitude with stunning views. 4. Final Stretch to Ecotourism Center (Approx. 25 min): We’ll take a smaller path to a remote ecotourism center at 2,800 meters (9,186 ft), surrounded by nature and fresh mountain air. 5. Lunch and Relaxation (Approx. 1 hour): Enjoy a traditional lunch, relax, and soak in the peaceful surroundings. 6. Return to Oaxaca (Approx. 1 hr 15 min): We’ll return along the same scenic route, offering new views of the landscapes. With breaks, the tour lasts between 5 and 5.5 hours.
