The tower was completed in 1763. Masterpiece by Italian architect Nicolau Nasoni, central figure of Baroque in northern Portugal. Built for the Brotherhood of Poor Clergy. Baroque style, with curved shapes and crafted decoration. Church : Oval plant (rare in Portugal), with golden scale and baroque organs.
