Arrive at the Shinjuku Sumo Club and take your seat around the dohyo (sumo ring), where every spot offers a close view. A bilingual MC introduces you to the history and rituals of sumo, from salt throwing to wrestler training.
Watch as professional wrestlers demonstrate powerful bouts, with live commentary explaining each move and its meaning. Then, step into the ring yourself for the exciting “Sumo Challenge”—a chance to test your strength and take fun photos with the wrestlers.
The 90-minute program continues with more matches, traditional ceremonies, and Q&A opportunities. The experience concludes with a photo session and meet-and-greet, leaving you with unforgettable memories and a deeper understanding of Japan’s national sport.
