The path to Tenkyō-in is a single road. Enter through the gate marked with the sign “天鏡院,” and continue straight ahead. On your left, you’ll find the temple and the parking area. This is the starting point of the event and where ticket check-in will take place.

What to expect

Find Stillness, Your Way

Welcome & Relaxation (30 minutes)
As you step through the temple gate, the whisper of wind in the bamboo and the moss-covered stone path greet you.
Walk slowly, breathe deeply, and let nature’s stillness draw your mind into the present moment.

Local Soul Music & Mindful Meditation (40 minutes)
Soon, the distant call of drums will guide you. Follow the sound to the gathering space.
Take your seat and listen as the delicate tones of traditional instruments fill the air.
Close your eyes, breathe deeply, and let your awareness merge with the music.

Moments of Silence (20 minutes)
After meditation, simply remain in stillness.
The rustle of bamboo leaves, the song of distant birds, the gentle touch of the breeze…
Do nothing. Just listen, release your thoughts, and allow body and mind to soften into calm.
